F1 Japanese Grand Prix — Suzuka 2026

How to Get to Suzuka Circuit for the F1 Japanese Grand Prix

Suzuka Circuit is located in Mie Prefecture, central Japan. The nearest major city is Nagoya (50 min by train). The circuit is also reachable from Osaka and Kyoto. Here is everything you need to know about getting there for the 2026 race weekend.

Quick Summary

The nearest train station to Suzuka Circuit is Shiroko Station (白子駅) on the Kintetsu Line. From Shiroko, official shuttle buses run to the circuit gates in about 20 minutes on race days. Alternatively, Suzuka Circuit Ino Station (鈴鹿サーキット稲生駅) on the Ise Railway is within walking distance of the circuit.

For most international visitors, the recommended route is: Nagoya → Kintetsu train to Shiroko → shuttle bus to circuit. Total time: about 70 minutes door-to-gate.

Three Ways to Get There

Train (Recommended for most visitors)

The Kintetsu Line connects Nagoya, Osaka, Kyoto, and local Mie cities to Shiroko Station. Trains run frequently, are reliable, and avoid road traffic. This is the most popular option among F1 fans. Just be prepared for long queues at Shiroko after the race.

Official Shuttle Bus

Suzuka Circuit operates direct bus services from major cities on race days. Buses go straight to the circuit gate — no transfers, no walking. Reservation is usually required and seats are limited, so book early. Check the official Suzuka Circuit website for the latest schedule.

Driving

Driving gives you the most flexibility, especially for groups. The circuit is accessible via the Higashi-Meihan Expressway (Suzuka IC exit). However, parking requires advance booking — official circuit parking needs a parking pass purchased with your race tickets. Park & Ride options are available at remote lots with shuttle service.
