Three Ways to Get There
Train (Recommended for most visitors)
The Kintetsu Line connects Nagoya, Osaka, Kyoto, and local Mie cities to Shiroko Station. Trains run frequently, are reliable, and avoid road traffic. This is the most popular option among F1 fans. Just be prepared for long queues at Shiroko after the race.
Official Shuttle Bus
Suzuka Circuit operates direct bus services from major cities on race days. Buses go straight to the circuit gate — no transfers, no walking. Reservation is usually required and seats are limited, so book early. Check the official Suzuka Circuit website for the latest schedule.
Driving
Driving gives you the most flexibility, especially for groups. The circuit is accessible via the Higashi-Meihan Expressway (Suzuka IC exit). However, parking requires advance booking — official circuit parking needs a parking pass purchased with your race tickets. Park & Ride options are available at remote lots with shuttle service.
On Sunday (race day), 100,000+ spectators leave at the same time. The queue at Shiroko Station can be 2–3 hours after the race. Plan your return carefully — leave early, stay late, or consider alternative stations. Use the transport planner to compare options.
