Tsu to Shiroko is short, direct, and usually the best value when you are not driving.
Tsu is the capital of Mie Prefecture, just 25 minutes from Suzuka by train. A quieter, more affordable base than Nagoya.
Tsu is one of the closest cities to Suzuka Circuit. The Kintetsu Line connects Tsu Station to Shiroko in just 20–25 minutes. Hotels in Tsu are often more available and affordable than Nagoya during race weekend.

Go to the official bus departure point at Tsu Station (East Exit, Bus Terminal Area 3)

Seats are capacity-controlled. If reservations are gone, this option disappears entirely.

Take the Kintetsu Line from Tsu to Shiroko. Regular trains run every 15–20 minutes and take about 25 minutes (¥460). No transfer needed. From Shiroko, circuit shuttle buses run to the gate.
No dedicated direct bus service from Tsu. The train connection is fast enough that buses are unnecessary.
Drive north on Route 23 or the Ise Expressway. About 30 minutes to the circuit area. Less highway toll cost compared to Nagoya. Street parking options are very limited — plan for official parking.
Tsu is an excellent budget-friendly base. Hotels are cheaper and easier to book than Nagoya. The short train ride makes it very practical for all race days.
